'RAABJERG. Rune Peitersen' at Biennale für aktuelle Fotografie
On May 19th the publication RAABJERG. Rune Peitersen was launched at the Biennale für aktuelle Fotografie in Mannheim. The film artist Rune Peitersen made as part of the project premiered at this event as well.
RAABJERG takes outset in the changing landscape of northern Jutland (DK). The landscape changed due to climatological changes and human resource extraction, and the following attempts at 'restoring' and 'reestablishing' a 'natural' landscape.
Let's have a look at the beautiful designed publication, design by Edwin van Gelder from Mainstudio. The cut out on the cover reveals the first image of the publication, which sets the tone of this tactile publication. The different kinds of paper and Japanese binding and page filling images add on to this.
