Role of Play: New Games, New Chances. A Future Perspective on Play in Society offers a refreshing take on modern game design and play. Author Ben Schouten will be present at the Frankfurter Buchmesse to launch his brand new publication on October 18th!

September 24th the publication The Artist as Explorer by Madelon Hooykaas will be published, with a design by Inedition (Eva van der Schans), edited by Madelon Hooykaas, Claire van Putten, and Eleonoor Jap Sam. With text contributions by Jan Bor, Malcolm Dickson, Dorothea Franck, Jacqueline Grandjean, Madelon Hooykaas, and Chris Meigh-Andrews.

Diana Scherer's latest book will launch on September 30th during the exhibition opening of the large solo exhibition Farming Textiles in Museum Kranenburgh in Bergen that will run from October 1st to March 2024.

The monograph -- / BLAST / HEAT / Han schuil with a stunning design by PutGootink will launch at the beginning of September. Simultaneously Han Schuil's solo exhibition at Oud Amelisweerd country house, organized by the Centraal Museum will open and can be visited from September 2nd until November 12th 2023.

On the occasion of the upcoming book Interwoven, we will release a special edition! The edition consists of the book, a limited 30x25 cm photo print, and an original 15x15 cm of grown root textile. In this publication summarizes artist Diana Scherer the project Interwoven and its results over the past 8 years. The book with a conceptual design adsresses biotechnology and research, in addition to the final results and artworks.

Jap Sam Books, patricia kaersenhout, designer Eva van der Schans (Inedition), and Bonnefanten are proud to announce the launch of a fundamental monograph exploring patricia kaersenhout's artistic practice and oeuvre over the years, simultaneously with kaersenhout's solo exhibition (10.06.23-05.11.23) at Bonnefanten in Maastricht.

We are excited to announce the nomination the Prix Bob Calle 2023 of jaune, geel, gelb, yellow. Monochrome by artist Antonis Pittas, designed by Alex Farrar! Publisher Eleonoor Jap Sam, and artist Antonis Pittas will attend the prize ceremony on June 8th in Paris. This award has been created to show and celebrate the particular art form that is the artist's book, and to help its recognition and international influence.

The past month we celebrated the launch of two special limited edition artist books, Displace and Mother's Milk.
