Last month, author Raoul Bunschoten presented the first official copy of the new publication Taiwan Strait to professor Wang Shaosen at a reading at the University of Xiamen, China.

Jap Sam Books and TU Delft OPEN Publishing would like to announce the expansion of their partnership to co-publish journals and books. These publications will be digitally published by TU Delft OPEN Publishing with an open license. Jap Sam Books is the publisher of the physical copies of these publications, which will be available to customers through its sales channels worldwide. This partnership started out with the academic journal Footprint and will now be accompanied with the Ecologies of Architecture Book Series, with more to come.

Stitch Your Brain is a long-term study into the intelligence of the hand by artist and former medical doctor Monika Auch. The book reflects the results of the empirical study Auh worked on for the past decade about the importance of creating with your hands in our digital age and the effects of slow creation on neuro cognitive learning, health, and well-being.

Role of Play: New Games, New Chances. A Future Perspective on Play in Society offers a refreshing take on modern game design and play. Author Ben Schouten will be present at the Frankfurter Buchmesse to launch his brand new publication on October 18th!

Friday April 14th, together with Popma ter Steege we presented the new publication: Reuse to Reduce. Architecture within a Carbon Budget. The Case of BioPartner 5 - Popma ter Steege Architects. We are excited to announce the nomination the Prix Bob Calle 2023 of jaune, geel, gelb, yellow. Monochrome by artist Antonis Pittas, designed by Alex Farrar! Publisher Eleonoor Jap Sam, and artist Antonis Pittas will attend the prize ceremony on June 8th in Paris. This award has been created to show and celebrate the particular art form that is the artist's book, and to help its recognition and international influence.
