THROWBACK ______ End of November we launched Role of Play: New Games, New Chances. A Future Perspective on Play in Society, @pakhuisdezwijger in Amsterdam. Beginning of November we launched Myriad Ways of Being ~ Being of Myriad Ways by artist Simone Albers. This publication is published on the occasion of the granting of the Sieger White Award to Simone Albers in 2022 and of her solo exhibition at Maurits van de Laar Gallery, in The Hague. The eponymous exhibition is still on show until Sunday November 26. The artist is present during the finissage on Sunday from 1 - 5 pm.

A Future Perspective on Play in Society by Ben Schouten and Menno Deen, Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam organizes an evening to engage in conversation and playful interaction with various designers and researchers about how our gaming culture has changed since the digital revolution of the past 50 years.

Sunday November 12th, the publication A BLACK COLLAGE (as well as the Dutch edition EEN ZWARTE COLLAGE) will launch at Kunsthal KAdE in Amersfoort. During this event there will be a performance by jazz singer Luyi, a reading by essayist, columnist and presentor Stephan Sanders, and a talk and Q&A by Robbert Roos and Rob Perrée.

Today, Wednesday November 8th, the Sieger White Award 2022 and the first copy of Myriad Ways of Being ~ Being of Myriad Ways. Simone Albers will be presented to the artist at Gallery Maurits van de Laar, this event also marks the opening of the eponymous exhibition at the gallery (November 1st - 25th 2023).
