Jasmine Carder will take you on an exploration through our backlist during her internship in a new series: Moments, which will also be shared on our Instagram @japsambooks. Below you can read her fourth entry, a moment in How to Tell a Story of My Father by Keiko Sato.

Below we share the first two architecture theory launches of 2025, both co-published by Jap Sam Books. These publications are the latest additions to two book series, Footprint 34 Narrating Shared Futures in the Footprint series, and Noetics Without a Mind in the Ecologies of Architecture book series.

Last June the publication Club Solo 2014-2024: Everything all together in one space at one time / Alles bij elkaar in een ruimte, op hetzelfde moment launced at artist space Club Solo. This event was the conclusion of Club Solo's programme after 10 years of unique solo exhibitions. Designed by Berry van Gerwen, edited by Florette Dijkstra. Published by Jap Sam Books i.c.w. Club Solo.

At the beginning of this month MARC BIJL THE WORKS 1984-2084 launched, designed by Studio Remco van Bladel i.c.w. Ismael Abderrahim Arribas, Alym Zhai, and Danique Merkestein.

Last month the monograph Home Made Energy by artist Bastienne Kramer, designed by Yvonne van Versendaal launched! 

In a few weeks over a 100 publishers and makers from the Netherlands and Belgium will present their unique books and other special objects and prints at DRUK in Paradiso.
